Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Location: Various locations (dependent on client needs)
Job Description:
We are always seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our team! As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machinery and equipment to support our clients’ production needs.
Responsibilities:
– Set up, operate, and monitor machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging machines
– Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment
– Start up and stop machines as necessary, including refilling materials
Inspect final products and report any faulty packaging or problems to managers
– Move completed boxes of products to the inventory area
– Troubleshoot issues and report any problems to supervisors or maintenance teams
– Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies
– Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
– Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or clients
Requirements:
– 1-2 years of experience operating machinery and equipment
– Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
– Basic math skills and attention to detail
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team environment
– Reliable transportation to and from work sites (dependent on location)
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred
– Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is an asset
